I can download videos off of any site now it seems, but I can’t burn any to CD for personal use. I have music videos that I would like to put on my computer and be able to find it, in my personasl files and burn them, I did try but got an error message that said flv are not compatible, and another error message in it’s entirety said, “Windows media player cannot pllay the file, the player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file” now as far as I know nothing was compressed, I’m the only user of my computer. It’s a Windows Vista with CD & DVD-super multi DL drive burner by Gateway, I do have the CD for Windows 7 installalation, I wonder if this would change anything for the better? I don’t know what to do. If I try & change something while I’m dl’ing the video’s should I do this 1 page at a time? I nned to know how to convert the file to the right one so that my computer will be compatible with it, then I can put some up in youtube, but not until then, nor am I able to burn a CD (Can’t find them) I tried putting them in my personal files, then got them ready to burn, but that’s when I got the error message. I have now purchased some dvd-r blanks and don’t want to waste them by wrecking the dvd-r liike I did my last two cd’s which I thought were going to work. Please get back to me. Thank you.
